03 / Our story

We started by listening to line crews.

VAF began in 2011 as a Southern California utility subcontractor. Working alongside crews revealed where conventional hardware was falling short—from corroding guy anchors to climbing systems that did not fit the job.

That field access shaped the company we are today: a woman-owned family business that designs, prototypes, tests, and certifies practical answers for the electric utility industry.
